Resignation

Today the Chairman's report on 'Coongate' was finally published on the LPUK site. The past few weeks have been... interesting to put it mildly, and to say it has been intense is a bit of an understatement.

What with everything that's happened and been said over the past few weeks I feel it would be impossible for me to promote the party and encourage others to join at the Rally against Debt tomorrow.

It was with deep regret therefore that early today I tended my resignation as South East regional coordinator of LPUK.

I also made a error of judgement in discussing the situation with another party official who was not an NCC member, and so feel partly responsible for the bad blood between the NCC and possibly made things worse.

I still intend to remain a member of the party for now, though all this has made me question whether I'm cut out for party politics.
